Love Card for OWH

Believe it or not, OWH needs valentines by December 31. However, I think I'll do love-themed cards, which are good anytime. A company called Our Daily Bread Designs is donating the cost of shipping one large box to the troops for every 25 cards linked to the OWH blog by the end of the month (one link to a customer)  Here's one I did today:

I see I'm the 20th link and it's only the 7th of the month. So it looks like OWH will get at least one, and maybe even two, box ship donations this month! I complain about shipping costs all the time, and their expenses have to be huge, so this is a real nice offer.

  1. I really like your card! I have that stamp too, though I have never thought to use it by itself - and it looks terrific the way you used it with the twine and rhinestones. The swirl in the "e" really goes well with your background paper. Very nice for a man or a woman too!

  2. Love your unusual color choices for the love card; makes it less valentiney. Very pretty!

  4. Hi Adele! Your comment made me laugh today- I don't suffer and hate Fall as much as I miss summer- a girl can't help but love red and orange trees after all! Thank you for your support- LOVE this card!!!

  7. I like your use of distressed edges and twine. I think this would appeal to a man (and maybe make him more tempted to write to his wife). Congratulations on winning the ODBD prize!!!
