Just for fun I thought I'd take part in this blog hop to showcase contributors' favorite cards.
Many of the cards I make are the result of trying new techniques or products, or CASEing cards I like. Here are some of the ones I made during the past year that I liked best:
Playing with gelatos:
Misted distress ink using a stencil as a stamp:
Stenciling, and stenciling with texture paste:
Fun with die cuts, including penguins created for a special call:
Stamping on stamping and stamping on stenciling:
And lastly, a cute little paper-pieced squirrel sitting in a stamped frame. The background was the fun part, where a pattern was heat embossed in clear on a patterned paper background and then distress ink was worked in -- one of the favorite techniques I learned this year.

Adele you have shared a wonderful grouping of cards with different techniques. Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year to you.

ReplyDeleteAdele, I got your comment on my blog asking about the heart stamp I used. I don't know any other way to contact you, but the stamp is the "Scribble Heart" rubber stamp by Stampabilities (a Hobby Lobby brand). You can find more info at this link: http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/scribble-heart-rubber-stamp-585281/. Thank you for your interest, and I hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteHi Andrea,
DeleteI replied to your e-mail with a thank you message before it occurred to me that it's probably a "no reply" link. Here's my message and hope this works:
"Thanks so much for the speedy reply! I've been going crazy trying to track down that stamp -- you know how you get something in your brain and you can't let it go? Hah! We don't have a Hobby Lobby in my area so it never even occurred to me to check them online. I really appreciate the info.
As I said in my comment on your Top 10 post, I really like your work, and I was delighted to learn that you are a fellow OWH contributor.
Thanks again, and I guess I'll "see" you in the upcoming OCC class (love those things!)
Adele"
