Watercolor Pre-Class -- Playing

I had a little time today to do another exercise. Three actually.

First, just some swishes of color. Don't know yet if I will cut these down for card fronts, or die cut some labels and flowers.

Tried mixing some colors to get a feel for how that works. Nothing too interesting here. I can see it will take practice to mix a new color. I was better at this with oils or acrylics in the past.

Tried the plaid. I should have kept it all lighter. Also tried splashes of rainbow colors. I may see if I can make these into cards tomorrow. Right now they are under a pile of acrylic blocks, trying to get flat!
